New Member Review Process

Process Overview (7–14 days)

1. Pay membership fee

2. Submit Member Information Form

3. Admin Review & Verify (2–3 days)

4. Submit Commitment Form

5. Receive Discord Access + Onboarding

Note: If you don't pass the review, you will receive a 100% refund.

Admin evaluates based on:

•Complete information (20%): All required fields filled

•Verified profile (20%): Verifiable links

•Clear goals (25%): Knows what they want to build

•Suitable skills (20%): Has a foundation to build

•Right motivation (15%): Wants to SHIP and learn — not just lurk

•SHIP at least 4 posts/month as public posts, share in #ship

•Submit Feedback Weekly form EVERY WEEK with substantive content

•Attend at least 2 sessions/month

•Follow NLB's Code of Conduct

•If you don't want to SHIP, apply as a Contributor (requires approval)

•Day 1: Read SHIP guidelines, update Discord profile

•Day 2: Introduce yourself in #introductions

•Day 3: Watch the Onboarding Video

•Day 7: Attend Onboarding Call with admin

•Week 2: SHIP your first post

•Week 2: Submit first Feedback Weekly

Requirements: Previously removed due to violations + waited at least 45 days

Process:

1. Submit updated Member Information Form

2. Explain why you want to return

3. Specific commitments about what you'll do differently

4. Admin review (stricter than first time)

5. If approved: Go through the normal process
